Oh boy, I have forgotten about the early mornings and long hikes so I can participate in nature photography. I rejoined my local camera club, and they had an excursion early this morning to Green Springs Gardens in Alexandria, Virginia. I was doing okay, but I brought too much camera equipment. Lugging that tripod and camera bag wore me out. I did find it fascinating to stand around pollinating flowers, and tons of bees are flying around, and not one bee paid any attention to me. They just wanted to get to the pollen in the flowers. I had a tiring, excellent time. I’m going back in a couple of weeks to visit the ponds. Next time, I’ll travel light and be prepared. Here are a couple of photos.
